Christopher Brown
Christopher "Chris" R. Brown, age 41, of St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic accident on Thursday, July 31, 2025, in St. Marys. He was born on November 11, 1983, in Kansas City, Missouri.
He is survived by his father, Rev. Allan P. (Judith) Brown of St. Marys; his mother, Karen (Hinschlager) Brown of Mendon; and his siblings: Daniel E. Karalumas III of St. Marys, David A. Karalumas of Bradenton, Florida, Katherine Brown of St. Marys, Benjamin Brown of Mendon, Amanda (Vic) Warnagiris of Archbald, Pennsylvania, and Nathan Brown and Wendy Cota of El Paso, Texas. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.
Chris was a proud 2001 graduate of Lake High School in Millbury, Ohio, where he was a member of the varsity football and wrestling teams. Following high school, he answered the call to serve his country as a United States Marine.
Those who knew Chris remember him for his generous heart, unwavering loyalty, and willingness to help anyone in need. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, and his kindness left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at New Salem Cemetery, located at the corner of Deep Cut Road and State Route 116 in Spencerville, Ohio, with Rev. Tim Benjamin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brown family to assist during this difficult time.
