Arleen Sullivan
Arleen Agnes Sullivan, age 64 of Celina, a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on July 19th, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on July 12th, 1961 in Cherry Point, North Carolina, to Thomas and Thelma Pax, who preceded her in death.
Arleen made her home in St. Marys and Celina, OH, where she built a life centered on love, creativity, and family. She married the love of her life Darryl Sullivan, on April 12th 1980, and together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and fellowship. She is survived by Darryl, as well as their daughters, Cassandra Sullivan of Wapakoneta, OH and Amaris (Farrell) Welch of Celina, OH.
She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Pax and her brother Christopher Pax (Kelly) of Celina, OH.
Arleen graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1980. She was a talented florist who found great joy in bringing beauty to others through her handcrafted floral arrangements and thoughtful gifts. She was a passionate gourmet cook, known for preparing delicious meals that brought her loved ones and friends together. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, concerts, traveling, and discovering new places.
Arleen was a devoted member of New Life Christian Center in Celina, OH. Her church community was a source of strength, fellowship, and encouragement. Arleen participated in church events and groups including the women's group. Arleen created many floral arrangements and provided meals for many fellow church members.
She had a deep love for animals, especially longhorn cattle. Anytime Arleen would see some in the distance, she would have to slow the car down, get out, and snap a few shots. She would often gaze in awe of their beauty. Arleen cherished her dogs-Pickles, Venus, Boomer, and Jasper. All of them brought her joy and comfort throughout the years.
Arleen's kindness, creative spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the New Life Christian Center in Celina, with Rev. Jason King officiating. Burial will follow in the Saint Marys Catholic Cemetery, with Deacon Charlie Salway officiating.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home and an hour before services on Thursday at the church.
