He will forever be missed by his children: Lindsey (Jacob) Schwinn of Nova, Ohio; Kayla (Ryan) Goddard of Saint Charles, Missouri; and Corey (Brooke) Walls of Mendon. He was a proud grandfather to his beloved granddaughter, Halle Schwinn.

A 1987 graduate of Mendon Union High School, Kerry also attended Vantage Career Center in Van Wert. He worked at Stamco in New Bremen for 17 years before pursuing his true passion-farming. As a dedicated and skilled farmer, he found great joy in being a steward of the land and raising livestock.
Kerry was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford and the Celina Moose Lodge. He loved the outdoors, spending time hunting and camping. He also enjoyed working in his shop and trucking for the farm. A strong supporter of the Mercer County Fair, Kerry loved watching his children participate in their 4-H activities. Above all, he was a devoted father who took great pride in raising his children and cherishing time with his growing family.
