Elizabeth Schindler
Elizabeth "Liz" (Sudhoff) Schindler, age 86, of Coldwater, most recently of the St. Charles Center in Carthagena, passed away at Celina Manor, on Monday, February 10, 2025.
She was born July 6, 1938 in Trinity, Indiana to the late Fred & Mary (Hartnagel) Sudhoff. On October 22, 1960, she married Ronald Schindler and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1999.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Tony & Linda Schindler of Celina, Tom Schindler of Celina, and Teresa & Brian Dysert of Coldwater; grandchildren, Emily & Chris Phelps, Katy & Jon Lam, Michael Schindler, Adam & Tashia Dysert, Evan Dysert & fiancée Paige Timmerman and a great granddaughter, Evelyn; and brother, Jim & Pat Sudhoff of Bluffton, Indiana.
Liz was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, the St. Ann's Ladies Sodality, the Holy Trinity Choir and an active volunteer for many years for various organizations. She was especially proud of her involvement with the Companions of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday and from 9AM to 10AM on Thursday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
