* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Evelyn Hirschefeld-Eymer
Evelyn A. Hirschefeld-Eymer, formerly of St. Marys, OH died 8:30 a.m. Saturday February 8, 2025 at her residence in Bluffton, IN.
She was born May 5, 1933 in Piqua, OH to William and Helen (Egbert) Wietholter. On June 12, 1954 she married James E. Hirschfeld, who died April 3, 1996. She later married Roger Eymer, who survives in Bluffton, IN.
Also survived by: daughter Angie (James) Myers of Celina, OH; son Timothy (Sandi) Hirschfeld of St. Marys, OH; 6 grandchildren: Tony (Jenny) Hirschfeld, Ryan (Tricia) Cline, Michael (Ashley) Hirschfeld, Christopher (Ashley) Cline, Adam (Kim) Hirschfeld, Beth Ann Myers; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister Marcella Puterbaugh of Tipp City, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents William and Helen Wietholter; husband James Hirschfeld; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Deanna Wietholter; and brother-in-law Robert Puterbaugh.
Evelyn was a farm wife and mother, who also worked at the St. Marys Hardware. In addition, she and James owned and operated the former St. Marys Motel for a number of years. Her favorite pastimes included dancing, traveling, making crafts, sewing , needlecraft and tole painting.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon on Friday February 14, 2025 at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon on Friday at the funeral home.
