* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Louis Lange
Louis Clement Lange, 89, of Wapakoneta, went to his final resting place with the Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at his home. He passed peacefully and will be dearly missed by his family. He was born Dec. 19, 1935, in St. Henry, OH, to the late Louis H. & Anna (Selhorst) Lange. On Oct. 14, 1961, he married Martha Jean Oen, and she survives. They were blessed to have been together over 63 years.
Louis is survived by 6 children, Dennis Lange, Wapakoneta, Kenneth (Edita) Lange, Sarasota, FL; Brian Lange, Winston -Salem, NC; Michael (Nancy) Lange, Rock Hill, SC; Jenelle Lange, Maumee, OH; and Kelly (Thomas) Newman, Bowling Green, OH; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Francis Gehret, New Bremen, and a sister-in-law, Edna Lange, St. Henry, OH.
Louis was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Pam Lange, and siblings and their spouses, Marie and Albert Pottkotter, Elmer and Sally Lange, Cleo and Ralph Strete, Wilma and Ves Dues, Sister Agnes Lange, Cy and Margie Lange, Rita and Joe Schroer, Leroy and Beany Lange, Gene Lange, Cletus Lange, and a brother-in-law, Lawrence Gehret.
Louis served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a graduate of St. Henry High School.
The family will receive family and friends 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m., Sat. January 4, 2025, at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta.
