Donna Jones
Donna J. Jones, age 72, of Celina, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 14, 2024, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born on November 16, 1952, in Lima to the late Donald M. and Ruth Ann (Emans) Rickard.
Donna is survived by her life partner of 36 years, Bryan Hirshfeld, of Celina; her children, Heather Jones of Lima and Kyle (Janice Brockman) Jones of Celina; her siblings, David Rickard of Lima, Bruce Rickard of Mendon, and Lori Slone of St. Marys; as well as seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her beloved pet dogs, Bo and Munch. Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Rickard.
A proud graduate of Mendon High School, Class of 1971, Donna retired from Huffy Bicycle in Celina after many years of dedicated service. She had a love for watching television, going garage saling, enjoying peaceful moments around the campfire, and, above all, cherishing time spent with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Neptune Cemetery in Neptune, Ohio.
