Max Cotterman
Max R. Cotterman, age 75 of New Bremen, Ohio, died on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born on December 27, 1948 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Thomas & Etta Jean (Garrison) Cotterman. On July 31, 1971, he married Vicki Wyen and she survives in New Bremen.
He is also survived by sons & daughters-in-law: Andrew & Halie Cotterman, Powell, Michael & Nikki Cotterman, New Bremen; grandchildren: Sheridan, Brayden and Aralynn; and sister Jennifer & Gary Fogt, Sidney.
Max was a graduate of Sidney High School where he held the school rushing record for 35 years. He was the founder of Cotterman & Company in 1978. He enjoyed riding snowmobiles, dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and going on motorcycle trips with friends. He collected old cars and enjoyed watching NASCAR, NFL and Ohio State.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday May 4, 2024, at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. A burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Bremen EMS.
