* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Train smashes semi in Versailles

No one was injured according to officials

VERSAILLES - A train collided with a semitractor-trailer on Wednesday, causing heavy damage to the front of the semitractor but no injuries.

Versailles fire and police responded to a call at 10:37 a.m. of a crash at West Street and State Route 47, according a news release on the village EMS' Facebook page. [More]

NEW BREMEN - New Bremen senior Nolan Kuenning signed a national letter of intent on Wednesday to play football at Ashland University.

Kuenning played offensive and defensive line for the Cardinals and earned an All-Midwest Athletic Conference honorable mention on defense this season, recording 25 tackles, one sack and one interception. [More]
