* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Debra Zizelman
Debra "Deb" K. Zizelman, age 65, of Mendon, passed away on October 9, 2023, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was born August 21, 1958, in Celina.
She is survived by her life partner, John Wurster, Mendon; mother and stepfather, Mary (Jim) Godwin, Mendon; second mother, Susie Wurster, Celina; two brothers, Kevin Zizelman, Mendon and Greg (Penny) Zizelman, Mendon; a sister, Leigh Ann (James) Shaffer, Mendon; many aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews.
Deb is also preceded in death by her father, Louis W. Zizelman; a brother, Ricky Zizelman; and her niece who welcomed her into heaven, Brittany Shaffer.
She was a 1977 graduate of Mendon Union High School in Mendon. She worked at Huffy Bicycle in Celina for 21 years and retired from Setex in St Marys. Deb was a fun-loving person who enjoyed her friends on Facebook and will be deeply missed by them all. Deb will also be missed deeply by her life partner John and her three pet dogs, Buddy, Prissy and Hanna.
Memorial services will begin at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina with Pastor Randy Christian officiating; where the family will receive friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm prior to the service.
Since Deb was an avid NASCAR fan memorial contributions can be made to Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, North Carolina, 27317. This camp is to enrich the lives of children with chronic medical conditions.
