* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

William Siefring
William "Bill" E. Siefring, 44, of New Weston, Ohio, passed away early Friday, February 24, 2023, at Hospice of Miami County, in Troy, Ohio.
He was born on June 19, 1978, in Coldwater, Ohio, to Eugene "Gene" Siefring of New Weston and the late Patricia (Timmerman) Siefring.
In addition to his mother, Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Craig and Chad Siefring; his sister, Sherrie Keller; his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Irene Siefring; and his maternal grandparents, William and Armella "Molly" Timmerman.
In addition to his father, Bill is survived by his siblings, Eric (Amanda) Siefring of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Joe (Amy) Siefring of New Weston; his brother-in-law, Eric "Rick" Keller of Fort Recovery; his nieces and nephews, Brent Luttmer, Libby Siefring, Molly Siefring, Bryce Siefring, Garrett Siefring, Shelby Siefring, and Evelynn Siefring; his nephew and godson, Hayden Siefring; and his many aunts and uncles.
Bill was a graduate of Fort Recovery High School. He never knew a stranger and would talk with just about anyone. Bill loved going to all types of sporting events, and rooting for the Fort Recovery Indians, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. He especially enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews play sports and would often be found cheering them on. Bill never complained and enjoyed his life to the fullest. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Fort Recovery Sons of the American Legion. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the outstanding team with Hospice of Miami County, especially Heather, Tina, Andrea, Jennifer, Peggy, and Josh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Guests may visit with Bill's family on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 9:45 AM at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. In honor of Bill, the family request that those in attendance for the visitation wear their favorite sports attire.
