* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Mary Bauer
Mary Susan "Susie" (Myers) Bauer, 81, of Avon, CT and formerly Sidney (Swanders) and Minster, OH, beloved wife for 35 years of the late Paul T. Bauer, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday September 25, 2022.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on September 8, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Helen Myers.
More than anything , Susie was a loving devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, aunt and friend who will forever be missed by her three children, Carla DuBois and her husband Ray, Nicholas Bauer and his wife Dawnelle and Jon Bauer and his wife Tara; five grandchildren (Nicolas, Jordan, Dylan, Finn and Wyatt) and a great grandmother to Reznov. She is survived by six siblings; Philip (Eileen) Myers, James (Beverly) Myers, Mark (Jessolene) Myers, Elizabeth Myers, Paula (Carl) Clune and Loretta (Gregory) Freistuhler and sister-in law Mary Patricia (Thomas) Stahl.
She was predeceased by her brother Dennis Myers and brother-in-law Jerome Bauer. Susie was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
Susie worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Avon Public School systems in CT for many years before returning to live in Minster , Ohio upon her retirement. The last year and a half brought her back to CT where she lived at Anthology Assisted Living. She loved to play cards, sew, knit and bake. She was proud of the two family cookbooks she put together for her family. Those cookbooks will be cherished with great memories of the times we spent together over the meals that made up the recipes in those cookbooks.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 5 at 10:30 AM at Holy Angels Church, 324 S. Ohio Ave, Sidney. Burial will follow at Pearl Cemetery 11095 Sidney-Wapakoneta Road (County Road 25A S) in Franklin Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sue's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.
