* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Laverne Fisher
Laverne D. Fisher, 89, of Wapakoneta, was called by the Lord at 10:28 p.m., Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born on January 13, 1933 in New Bremen, OH to Delbert and Leona (Miller) Saintignon who preceded her in death. On October 9, 1954 she married the love of her life, Leo J. Fisher, who passed away on April 6, 2009.
Survivors include her two loving children Marla (Eric) Santomieri of Bluffton and Larry (Lisa) Fisher of Wapakoneta; her 5 wonderful grandchildren Gregg (Colleen) Santomieri, Karyn (Tom) Kamphaus, Randy (Carrie) Fisher, Katie Kohler and Austin (Kristin) Fisher; and her 12 beautiful great-grandchildren Michael, Nolan, Jacob, Savannah, Levi, Jack, Caroline, Kate, Ashtyn, Leo, Berkley and Lauryn.
Laverne was preceded in death by a beautiful great-granddaughter, Kennedy Fisher; a sister, Retha Saintignon and two brothers Eldon (Bonnie) Saintignon and Alvin (Mary Ann) Saintignon.
Laverne was a 1951 graduate of Celina High School. She was a lifelong farm wife, loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality. Laverne will be remembered for always having a smile on her face along with having a jovial spirit that drew others to her. She was a people person who enjoyed being around others. Most of all she dearly loved her family and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2022 at St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg with Rev. Sean Wilson officiating. Private family burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Family and friends may visit from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice.
