Ann Geise
Ann Marie (Delzeith) Geise, age 88, of Fort Loramie, passed away of natural causes Friday evening, January 21, 2022, at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sidney, Ohio.
She was born July 30, 1933, in Coldwater, Ohio, to the late Sophia (Buscher) Delzeith. On October 24, 1964, at St. Henry Catholic Church in St. Henry, Ann married Anthony "Tony" Geise Jr. who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Mark A. Geise of Sidney and Cheryl & Michael Wade of Anna; two grandchildren, Samantha Wade and Zachary & Lauren Wade along with two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Lincoln Wade; Sisters & brothers-in-law: Eileen Delzeith of St. Henry, Irene Geise of Somerville, Charlotte Geise of Union and Karen Geise of Minster as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by eight siblings: Rita & Russell Walter, Alvera & Wilmer Denning, Nicholas Delzeith, John & Myra Delzeith, Richard & Dorothy Delzeith, Cletus & Gladys Delzeith, Sylvester & Eileen Delzeith and Cyril Delzeith as well as several brothers & sisters-in-law: Ray & Dorothy Geise, Ed & Mildred Geise, Mary & Carl Seger, Francis Monnin, Victor Geise, Leonard & Martha Geise, Donald Sr. & Margaret Geise, Fred Geise and Kenneth Geise.
Mrs. Geise was a dedicated homemaker. Years ago, she had also been a cook and waitress for Brucken's and The Trails restaurants. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Ann's Ladies Sodality. Ann loved her family, especially interacting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In earlier days, she enjoyed bowling.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at St. Michael Church in Fort Loramie with Rev. Steven Shoup presiding. Interment of cremains will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
