Carl Sutter
Carl August Sutter, age 82 of Celina, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his residence in Celina, with his family at his bedside.
He was born on November 13, 1938 to the late Clarence and Regina (Leugers) Sutter in Celina. On October 4, 1957, he married Judith Ann Colton who survives in Celina.
He is survived by his children; Diane (Kenny) Gehle of Celina, Sharon (Jeff) Link of Celina, Nancy Hanna (Rob Parlett) of Celina, Michael (Nicole) Sutter of Celina, Thirteen Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, two brothers and sisters-in-law Leroy (Judy) Sutter of Willshire, John (Vicki) Sutter of Celina, Jill Sutter of Celina, Dru Sutter of Celina, Tina Colton of Dallas, GA, sisters and brother-in-law; Edrice Williams of Celina, Carolyn Kaylor of Neptune, Madonna Sattler of Celina, Mary Dupes of Celina and Jane (Roger) Eibling of Ft. Wayne, IN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Norbert Sutter and Paul Sutter, his brothers-in-law Kenneth Williams, Robert Kaylor, Leonard Sattler, Bryan Dupes, and Judy's brother Jerry Colton.
Carl worked at Coldwater Home Supply for 41 years, he owned and operated C & J Trucking Company with his wife for 26 years, and farmed for 55 years. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina. He enjoyed hunting, vacationing with Judy and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30a.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Andy O'Reilly C.PP.S. officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date in the Mercer Memory Gardens Cemetery in Celina.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021 and from 9:00 a.m. Until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
