Julie Cordier
Julie A. Cordier passed away Sunday evening at Wayne Hospital.
Julie was born March 7, 1942 in Celina, Ohio. She graduated from Celina Senior High School and went on to obtain degrees from Manchester College and Miami University in elementary education.
All of Julie's 36 years of teaching were in the Middletown School system. She had an outstanding teaching career, finishing her tenure at McKinley Elementary, fourth grade. For the last four years Julie resided in Greenville at Village Green Health Campus in assisted living.
She loved this facility, the residents, and the resident professionals.
Julie is survived by a sister Janie (Brian) Reifsnider, a brother Bill (Jo) Cordier, nephews Benjamin Cordier and Landon Reifsnider, niece Lauren (Adam) Mott and 3 great nieces Laney, Libby and Elise Mott.
Julie embraced life and will be missed. A memorial service will be held Sunday June 6 at 2 p.m. at Greenville Grace Church, 4805 Ohio 49 South.
