Martha Nagel
Martha L. Nagel, 86, of St. Marys, OH died 6:30 a.m. Thursday May 27, 2021 at her daughter's residence.
She was born October 16, 1934 in St. Marys, OH to Harvey and Louise (Horn) Henning. On June 27, 1953 she married Donald Nagel, who died April 18, 1996.
Survivors include: son Donald Nagel, Jr. of St. Marys, OH; son Kevin (Micky) Nagel of Welloington, OH; daughter Sheila (Darren) Slemmons of St. Marys, OH; son Ronald (Elizabeth) Nagel of St. Marys, OH; grandchildren: Andrew (Tera) Nagel, David (Amber) Nagel, Kayla Nagel, Jordan Nagel, Jevin Nagel, Isabelle Nagel and Blake (Nicki Fedarko) Nagel; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren Wayne Sands and Amber Sands; sister-in-law Donna Nagel of St. Marys, OH; sister-in-law Mary Brown of Minster, OH; brother-in-law John Korte of Marion, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Harvey and Louise Henning; husband Donald Nagel, daughter Nanette Nagel; brother Harvey (Teresa) Henning, Jr.; brother Herbert (Lois) Henning; brother Edwin (Bernice) Henning; brother William (Marilyn) Henning; infant brother Eugene Henning; loving companion Andy Phipps.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1952). A homemaker, she worked as a bartender in the club room of VFW Post #9289 in St. Marys for 20 years. Her favorite pastime was playing cards with her friends, AKA "The Cougars."
Private family services will be conducted.
