* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Robert Waesch
Robert E. Waesch, 79, of Saint Marys, died Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born March 9, 1941, in Saint Marys Township, the son of Henry and Leota (Fischer) Waesch. He married Caroline Craft on June 26, 1965, at the First Friends Church in Saint Marys, and she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his brothers Fred (Jean) Waesch of Celina; Paul Waesch of Saint Marys. He is survived by his sister-in-law Donna (David) Schreiner of Millersburg, Ohio; by his brothers-in-law Dave (Lynn) Craft of Saint Marys, and Jim (Sheila) Craft of Saint Marys. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bob was a 1960 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He had worked at Thieman Stamping in New Bremen; New Idea in Coldwater, and BRW Tool in Saint Marys. He recently retired from the Township Of Saint Marys after 44 years of service. While there he had worked for the Road and Bridge Department, mowed roads and plowed snow. He was a charter member of the Township Of Saint Marys Fire Department.
He was especially proud of having restored two antique Farmall tractors which he enjoy taking on fun rides and tractor shows in Ohio and Indiana. He had attended many tractor shows through the years in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Tennessee. He was a member of the Buckeye Farm Antiques Club of Wapakoneta and of the International Harvester Club, Chapter 6, of Ohio.
He was a past member of the First Friends Church, Saint Marys, and was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Saint Marys. Bob enjoyed watching football and NASCAR, with his favorite drivers being Mark Martin and Bill Eilliot.
Funeral rites will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 4, 2021, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Rhonda Hanier, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral rites on Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may given to Buckeye Farm Antiques, Wapakoneta, or St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Saint Marys.
All visitors to the funeral home are required to wear a mask, in accordance with the mandates of the Ohio Department of Health.
