* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Donald Harter
Donald M. Harter, age 96, of Fort Recovery, passed away on December 24, 2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana.
He was born September 7, 1924, in Salamonia, IN, to the late Walter and Lulu (Bibler) Harter. On June 28, 1959, he married the late Betty (Pyle) Harter, who died September 17, 2000.
Surviving are nephew, E. Mack (Melanie) Harter of Fort Recovery; and two nieces, Elizabeth (Alvin) Lehman of Berne, IN, and Jackie Harter of Fort Recovery.
Also preceding him in death are his twin brother, Darwin (Doris) Harter and also a brother, Duane Harter.
Donald was a 1943 graduate of the former Madison High School, Jay County, IN and then served in the U.S. Army. He was employed forty years at the former Sheller Globe, Portland, IN and then worked at the Fort Recovery Industries for almost thirty years.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 345, Fort Recovery and attended the First Church of Christ and Church of the Nazarene, both of Fort Recovery.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, a private graveside service will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the American Legion, Fort Recovery.
