Scattered snow showers can be expected this morning along with westerly winds gusting to around 40 mph at times. Temperatures will continue to fall this morning, with readings dropping well below freezing.
Snow accumulations will be a half inch or less. This will result in some slick spots on untreated surfaces as well as bridges and overpasses. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination this morning. Be prepared for changing road conditions as well as gusty winds.

An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing.
Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning.
The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.

Jon Hogenkamp
Jon Hogenkamp age 82 of Ft. Myers, FL and formerly of Pueblo, CO died on Sunday, September 27, 2020 in Ft. Myers, FL.
He was born May 20, 1938 in Minster, to the late Nicholas P. & Rosella (Vallo) Hogenkamp and they both preceded him in death along with stepfather Paul Mehmert.
He is survived by daughters: Allyson Santos & Natasha Wright both of Colorado, 3 grandchildren, and siblings: Nicholas A. & Thelma Hogenkamp, Minster, Dale & Linda Hogenkamp, Centerville, Karen Herchen, Leesburg, FL, B. Jay & Lois Hogenkamp, Carthagena, Ann & Dan Jacobs, Delaware.
Jon graduated from Minster High School in 1956, graduate of University of Dayton and Ohio State Medical School. He served his residency at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He joined the US Air Force in Fort Hood, TX. Once he completed his time in the Air Force he worked as an OB/GYN in Pueblo, Colorado for many years.
A private service will be held.
