Roger was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and was employed by Crown in New Bremen since the age of 18. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother that loved criticizing and complaining about his favorite sports teams, which included the Reds, Buckeyes, Dolphins, and local high schools.
Some of Roger's other hobbies included camping, visiting family and friends, cracking jokes, small vacations, baking sweets, picking up rolls from the Coldwater Bakery, and of course, running into random people he knew all across the area, state, and country.
