Darlene Diane (Davis) Shindeldecker, age 75, died November 22, 2019, at 6:28 p.m., at her home. She was born June 5, 1944, in rural Rockford, to the late Basil and Alma (Squires) Davis. She married Dennis Marvin "Marv" Shindeldecker, July 1, 1961, and he survives. Darlene retired as a teacher from Parkway Local Schools.

Surviving are her two sons, Loren (Melanie) Shindeldecker, Rockford, and Troy (Stacie) Shindeldecker, Rockford; and two daughters, Debra (Charles) Bauer, Convoy, and Jill (James) Leighner, Rockford; and one brother Lowell (Mary) Davis, Troy, Ohio.

Also surviving are 6 grandsons: Zane (Samantha) and Ian Bauer, Convoy; Richard (Britney) Shindeldecker, Coldwater; Collin (Kalie) Leighner, Van Wert; Dennis and Justin Leighner, Rockford; and 5 granddaughters: Amanda (Andrew) Peel, Rockford; Salina (Logan) Felver, Columbus; Elizabeth, Addysin, and Saige Leighner, Rockford, and 7 great-grandsons: Nolan, Carter, Davis, Runser, Gavin, Liam, and Theo.

Per Darlene's request, private graveside services are being held at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Parkway Band or FFA at Parkway Local Schools, Rockford, Ohio.
