Ivan Miller
Ivan L. Miller, age 98 of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 12:17 am June 21, 2019 at the Miller Place in Celina.
He was born December 27, 1920 in Mercer County to the late Clarence and Beulah (Fuhrman) Miller. On February 28, 1948 he married Dorothy C. (Willrath) Miller and she preceded him in death on October 25, 2005.
Survivors include his children; Kathleen (Jim) Emrich, Amboy, IN, Rose Green, Berne, IN and Carol (Terry) Lewis, Middleburg, FL; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Lyn Green; a sister, Verna Alice Schaadt; and a brother, Fuhrman Miller.
He was a 1938 graduate of Celina Senior High School. Ivan worked his entire life self-employed as a farmer. Ivan was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina where he enjoyed playing on the church dart-ball team. He was a passionate woodworker leaving behind many treasured items for his family to enjoy.
Visitation hours will be from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm on Monday, June 24, 2019 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Bethany United Methodist Church, 416 E. Wayne St, Celina, Ohio with Rev. Jon Exman officiating, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Memorial Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Hospice and/or Miller Place in Celina and/or the Bethany United Methodist Church.
