Shirley Huffman
Shirley Ann Huffman, age 82, of Celina, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Otterbein retirement living center in St. Marys.
She was born on July 4, 1936 in Mercer County to the late Claude and Virginia (Eley) Buchanan. On Nov. 25, 1971 she married Norbert Huffman, who survives living in St. Marys.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Debra (Ted) Torge of Hope Sound, Fl., and son Charles Samples of Knoxville, TN., two grandchildren Kylie (Luke) Craft and Kirsten (Alex) Zerfoss, four great grandchildren Cohen, Adler, Oliver, Phoebe Craft and her brother George (JoAnne) Buchanan of Panama.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Alvin (Helen) Buchanan and her sister Vivian (Jack) Gray.
She graduated from Willshire High School with the Class of 1954. Shirley retired from the United States postal service in 1998 and was a Gold Medallion Real Estate Broker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Grand Lake United Methodist Church in Celina, with Rev. Diane Mendelson officiating. Burial will follow in the North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina and from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Church.
