Nancy Liette
Nancy J. Liette, 66, of rural St. Marys, OH died 11:02 a.m. Tuesday January 1, 2019 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.
She was born July 8, 1952 in Fairborn, OH to Ervin and Maryjane (Webster) Liming. On July 10, 1971 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, OH she married David Liette, who died December 11, 2016.
Survivors include: son Todd (Shelly) Liette of St. Marys, OH; son Greg (Mandy) Liette of St. Marys, OH; son Ted Liette of St. Marys, OH; daughter Jill (Josh) McCullough of St. Marys, OH; 8 grandchildren: ; Nathan McCullough, Keegan Liette, Carter Liette, Sasha Liette, Shalynn Liette, Cayden McCullough, Colton McCullough, Caitlin Liette; brother Gary (Joann) Liming of St. Marys; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: parents Ervin and Maryjane Liming; husband David Liette; brother James "Jim" Liming; brother "Big Andy" Liming; brother Joey Liming.
She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1970). She was a homemaker and farm wife. Her favorite pastimes included cooking, painting, camping and going to casinos to play the slot machines with Dave.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Nancy was loyal, fun-loving and possessed a unique ability to make people feel special and appreciated. She will be dearly missed by her family and close friends.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin 11:00 a.m. Monday January 7, 2019 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St. Marys, with the Rev. Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
