* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Salome Pleiman
Salome D. Pleiman, age 94 of Coldwater, died Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Coldwater.
She was born November 19, 1924 in Maria Stein to the late Joseph & Catherine (Schmitt) Bergman. On December 26, 1944 she married Arthur Pleiman and he died in 1993.
She is survived by children, A. Joseph & Joan Pleiman of Kensington, Maryland, Lorraine & David Schwartz of Coldwater, Mary & Tony Jordan of Baltimore, Maryland, and Roy Pleiman & Dana Rutschilling of New Bremen; ten grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Merilda Hoying of St. Henry; and in-laws, Emma Pleiman of Spencerville, Bob Pleiman of Coldwater, and Tom & Marlyn of Scottsdale, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Wilfred & Julianna Bergman, Anna Rita & Joe Sanders, Herman Hoying, Linus & Rita Bergman, Vera & Florian Stelzer, Lucille & Richard Fleck, Ernie Pleiman, Rosann & Ralph Post, Alice & Leonard Homan, Betty Pleiman, Margie & Paul Dirksen.
Salome was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and the St. Ann's Holy Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Coldwater American Legion Auxiliary. Former owner and operator of Coldwater Home Supply.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Monday, January 7, 2019 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday, January 6, and 9:00 to 10:00 am Monday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
