* At 813 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Bluffton to near Wapakoneta, moving east at 60 mph.

ROCKFORD - Parkway Local Schools board members on Friday approved a $482,275 bid from Dant Clayton Corp. of Louisville, Kentucky, to replace the home-team football bleachers and possibly the press box.
Also submitting bids were E & D Specialty Stands, North Collins, New York, $300,000, and Farnham Equipment Co., Columbus, $587,500. The project had been estimated to cost $400,000, superintendent Jeanne Osterfeld has said. [More]

CELINA - Mercer County Board of Elections Director Laura Bruns hopes to trim a list of potential new voting machine systems down to two options in January, when she'll invite poll workers and the public to test them and offer opinions.
CELINA - Grand Lake-area traffic accidents caused nine deaths in 2018, down from 12 the year before.
Two occurred in Mercer County, down from seven last year.
CELINA - Radon levels in the Celina Primary and Middle School buildings and the education complex are within the safe range after higher-than-normal readings this summer required installation of a mitigation system.
Strong wind gusts swept through Mercer and Auglaize counties on Thursday night and into the morning Friday, knocking down trees and causing power outages.
