* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

James Welker
James H. Welker, 68, of Celina, OH died 7:13 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 at Mercy Health-St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH.
He was born March 6, 1950 in Celina, OH to Arthur "Bud" and Loa (Brookhart) Welker.
He is survived by: daughter Tessa (Larry) Ice of Dry Ridge, KY; granddaughter Hayle Post of Dry Ridge, KY; granddaughter Lynette of Celina, OH; sister Becky (Jerry) Steinke of Waynesfield, OH; significant other Susan Haselius of Celina, OH; nieces.
Preceded in death by: parents Arthur "Bud" and Loa Welker.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1968). A professional driver, he worked for Case Carriage in Celina, OH and St. Marys Trucking Co., prior to becoming disabled in a semi-truck accident in 1999.
He was a member of VFW Post #5713 auxiliary in Celina and Sons of the American Legion Post #323 in St. Marys.
Animals held a special place in his heart. Jim served as president of Animal Resource Foundation for many years, resulting in countless pets being placed with loving, adoptive families. He will be remembered for his benevolent spirit and willingness to help others in need.
Rites are scheduled to begin 12:00 noon Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys. Visitation 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon on Saturday.
