* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Wanda Springer
Wanda L. Springer, 81, of Cincinnati, OH, and formerly of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
Born July 17, 1937, in Montezuma, OH, she was the daughter of Clarence and Estella (Weaver) Muter. A 1955 graduate of Celina High School, she married Charles Springer on February 1, 1959. Wanda retired from Washington Local Schools after 15 years of service. Prior, she was employed by Owens Illinois. She was an active member of Bridgepoint Church in Temperance, MI. Wanda enjoyed bowling, gardening and baking.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles; children Craig (Stephani) Springer and Laura (Christopher) Scheffer; sister, Wuanita (Jerry) Bollenbacher; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Abigail, Hope and Taylor.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Glenn and Harold Muter and 2 sisters, Mary Vannette and Dorothy Augustine.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Monday, October 15, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Bridgepoint Church Building Fund.
