* WHEN...From 6 AM to 6 PM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening commutes.

High school football season officially Underway

Coldwater football players chase after the ball after a Monday morning practice. The Cavaliers open the season at Kenton. The first official practices of the 2018 high school football season were held around the area. Teams either started early in the morning or chose to practice in the evening. Area teams open their seasons on Aug. 24. Volleyball, golf, soccer, tennis and cross country officially begin practice on Wednesday.
