* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

High school football season officially Underway

St. Henry's Zach Niekamp, with ball, follows a blocker during the Redskins' practice at the Wally Post Athletic Complex. The Redskins travel to Covington for their season opener. The first official practices of the 2018 high school football season were held around the area. Teams either started early in the morning or chose to practice in the evening. Area teams open their seasons on Aug. 24. Volleyball, golf, soccer, tennis and cross country officially begin practice on Wednesday.
