* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Bruce Saintignon
Bruce Edward Saintignon, age 62, of Montezuma, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 2, 2018 with his family by his side at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born November 26, 1955 in Tacoma, Washington to Alvin E. and the late Mary Ann (Muhlenkamp) Saintignon; his father survives in Celina. He married Lois A. (Kuck) on November 25, 2000 and she survives in Montezuma.
He is also survived by his children: Alan & Jenny Saintignon of New Bremen, Lee Ann Saintignon of Celina, Carl Saintignon of Ft. Recovery, Janice & Doug Holdheide of Maria Stein, and Tim & Wendi Saintignon of Celina; three grandsons: Luke & Seth Saintignon and Oliver Holdheide with another grandson due this summer. His former wife Lorraine (Kunk) Saintignon of Rockford; his siblings: Carol & Alan Kruse, Rick & Michelle Saintignon, Connie & Cliff Rempfer and Elaine & Dan Baumer; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and two infant brothers, Timothy and Randall.
Bruce was a 1974 graduate of Celina Senior High School, Lima Technical College with a degree as a real estate agent and the Reppert School of Auctioneering. He began Auctioneering in his early teens at Heinie's dog races. He started Saintignon Excavating in 1975 and it continues today.
Bruce believed passionately in what he thought was right, he had a great sense of humor and underneath a gruff exterior, a soft heart. He was very patriotic and proud of his family's service. He never knew a stranger and he very much enjoyed exploring the country on his motorcycles with 2 very good friends Marty Wilker and Lee Kuck, both now deceased. He loved to cook and grill and heartily enjoyed shooting trap with his children and grandsons.
He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and Sons of the American Legion in New Bremen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM on Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Memorials may be made to Center for Neurological Development in Burkettsville.
