Dolores Muhlenkamp
Dolores V. Muhlenkamp, 80, Portland, Indiana, died on February 5, 2018, at Persimmon Ridge, Portland, IN.
She was born July 11, 1937, in Chickasaw, OH, to the late Roman and Justina (Evers) Kuess. On November 22, 1958, she married Alvin Muhlenkamp, who died May 12, 2010.
Surviving are her children, Sharon Muhlenkamp of Portland, Luke (Mary Sue) Muhlenkamp of Portland, Allen (Theresa) Muhlenkamp of Portland, Shirley (Gary) Heitkamp of Bryant, IN, Sandy (Mike) Shannon of Bryant, Sheryl Muhlenkamp of Portland, Susan (Wade) Kohler of Portland, Earl (Carrie) Muhlenkamp of Portland, and Sheila Brunswick of Portland; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Elmer Kuess of Celina, OH and Irene (Paul) Heckman of Dalhart, TX; sisters-in-law, Esther Kuess of Cassella, OH and Gladys Kuess of Coldwater, OH; and in-laws, Bernard Muhlenkamp of Ballwin, Missouri, Ivan (Sue) Muhlenkamp of St. Joe, Michigan, Lou Ann Knoth of Coldwater, OH, Juanita Buening of St. Henry, OH, Elaine (Tom) Carlisle of Dayton, OH, Kathy (Tom) Coon of Little Rock, Arkansas, Lavaughn (Doris) Muhlenkamp of Portland, and Janet Muhlenkamp of Portland.
Preceding her in death was a grandson, Dylan; brothers, Ernest and Lavern Kuess; sisters, Mildred Prenger and Dorothy Tuente; brothers-in-law, Edward Prenger and Clarence Tuente; a sister-in-law, Irma Kuess; and in-laws, Ernest Muhlenkamp, Cletus Knoth, and Paul Buening.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Indiana and its Altar Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed spending time with her children and treasured her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Indiana, Fr. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bryant, Indiana.
Calling is 2:00 pm-8:00 pm Friday and 9:00 am-9:45 am Saturday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
