Lonnie Herron
Dr. Lonnie "Frank" Herron, age 78, of Celina, Ohio, passed away at 8:20 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
Frank was born May 21, 1939 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late Murrell Maurice and Alice (Agle) Herron. On December 27, 1958 he married Lois Copeland Herron, they were together for 59 wonderful years, and she survives at their residence.
Other survivors include a son, Kevin (Esther) Herron, Dublin, Ohio; two daughters, Tori Herron, Lima, Ohio, and Tracey Morley, Englewood, Ohio; a brother, Maurice (Ruth) Herron, New Weston, Ohio; a sister, Amanda Ford, Alabama; and four grandchildren, Conner Morley, Kristin Morley, Samantha Morley, and Jamie Spaulding.
Also preceded in death by a son, Todd Herron; two brothers, David and Dr. Rick Herron; and a sister, Roslyn Herron Strahm.
Frank was a 1958 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and he served his country in the United States Army during a time of peace. He received his Bachelors of Science from Wright State University in Dayton and went on to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa.
He opened his own Chiropractic office, Alternative Health Care, located in Coldwater, OH. Frank retired and sold his practice in 2005 to spend time with his family and loved ones.
Memorial Services will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, OH, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating.
The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. To conclude the memorial service military honors will be provided by the Celina American Legion Post 210 and Celina VFW Post 5713.
