Jeanette Raudabaugh
Jeanette M. Raudabaugh, 82, of Saint Marys, died May 31, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio. She was born March 28, 1935, in Coldwater, Ohio, the daughter of Sylvester and Lucy (Sommers) Wendel. She married George E. Raudabaugh on June 9, 1956, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her children: Christopher (Cheryl) Raudabaugh of Delaware, Ohio; Bill (Jill) Raudabaugh of Dublin, Ohio; Lori (Paul) Havlovitz of Dublin.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Sam Raudabaugh; Sally Yi. She is also survived by her step-grandchildren: Lauren Schaefer; Amanda Martin; Kyle Havlovitz; Justin Havlovitz; Gina Havlovitz. She is survived by a sister, Mary Ann Greaney of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by a son, George Raudabaugh; by her siblings: Joseph Wendel; James Wendel; Mildred Bomholt; Miriam Cartwright.
Jeanette was a 1953 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She graduated from Ohio Northern University with a BS in Education; she earned her MS from Wright State University. She retired from Saint Marys City Schools, where she was a teacher for many years. She enjoyed snow skiing, boating, knitting, teaching yoga and swimming. Jeanette was very social and will be remembered for her warm personality.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 5, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, Fr. Ken Alt and Fr. Jerry Schetter, concelebrants. Private family burial rites will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery, Saint Marys.
The family will host an open house from 2-5 P.M. Monday at the residence, 5000 Rainbow Drive, Saint Marys. Memorial gifts may be given to Kobacker Hospice House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus.
