Kristine Selby
Kristine "Kris" Selby, 49, Saint Marys, died suddenly at 6:51 P.M. Thursday, January 19, 2017, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born August 14, 1967, in Saint Marys, the daughter of James and Phyllis (Halterman) Hehr.
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Hehr of New Bremen. She is also survived by her fiance, Neil Rohrbach, of Saint Marys. She is survived by her daughter, Lauren (and fiance Mitchell Chinn) of Saint Marys; by two step-daughters, Tara (Mike) Compton of Saint Marys; Amanda (Cody) Spaughy of Wapakoneta. She is survived by her grandchildren Owen and Tyler; by her step-grandchildren Craig, Devin, Jude, Michael, Hayden, Logan, Taylor, Gracie and Gage. She is also survived by her siblings: Carol (Joe) Brown of Saint Marys; Cheryl (Kevin) Goubeaux of Russia; Karen (Ken) Kemper of Maria Stein.
Kris was a 1985 graduate of New Bremen High School. She is a graduate of Concord Institute and was a phlebotomist at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital for 13 years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys. She was a great cake baker and would do anything for a friend in need. She dearly loved her family. Kris was a proud two time ovarian cancer survivor and was an organ donor.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Saint Marys, Father Barry Stechschulte, celebrant. Burial will follow.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to the Cancer Association of Auglaize County.
