* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Austin Schneider
Austin R. Schneider age 72, of Cridersville, died Friday Dec. 16, 2016 at his residence.
He was born Nov. 2, 1944 to the late Henry and Christiena Elizabeth Reidenbach Schneider. He married J. Kaye Gossett June 17, 1967 and she survives in Cridersville.
Austin was a life member of Western Ohio Gun Club and graduated from Roseville High School and attended Wayne State University and graduated from University of Michigan with a masters in Library Science. He had also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Austin had retired in 2014 from the Mercer County District Library where he had served as director for 42 years. He was instrumental in expanding the Library and adding branches in Marion Township, St. Henry and Mendon. He currently was serving as Chief Fiscal Officer.
Additional survivors included a brother Alvin Schneider of Rice Lake, Wisconsin and several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother Dr. Aaron Schneider.
Kaye will receive friends 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The funeral will follow at 3 with Pastor Jon Exman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Holly Gardens near St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Mercer County District Library.
