* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Wilbur Hoying
Wilbur G. Hoying age 85 of McCartyville, Ohio died at 1:48 AM on December 25, 2016 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on December 23, 1931 in McCartyville, Ohio to the late Bernard & Anna M. (Baumer) Hoying. He married Henrietta Schulze on May 25, 1963 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dayton, Ohio. She survives in McCartyville.
He is survived by children: Anita & David Kemper, Minster, Lois Olberding & fiancé Randy Otting, Ft. Loramie, Victor Hoying, St. Patrick, Ohio, grandchildren: Lisa & Scott Schmiesing, Kelli Kemper & fiancé Kevin Bensman, Nicholas Kemper, Tara Olberding, Janel Olberding & fiancé Mark Frilling, great grandchild Isla Schmiesing, brother: Bernard & Rita Hoying, Montezuma, sister: Marilyn & Denny Ross, Kettering, in-law Janet Hoying, Anna.
He was preceded in death by sister Dolores & Harold Bensman, brother Wilfred Hoying and infant sister Norma Hoying.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. He was a life member and past commander of the Minster VFW, a member of the Minster American Legion and a 27 year member of the Minster Firing Squad. He was a farmer and worked 20 years with the Minster Post Office. Wilbur enjoyed spending time and playing cards with family & friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville, Ohio with Rev. Louis Schmit & Rev. Vincent Hoying con-celebrants. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery with full military honors by the Minster Firing Squad.
Friends may call at the Sacred Heart Church from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 29.
