Ruth Ann Vehorn
Ruth Ann Vehorn age 82 of Maria Stein, Ohio died on November 25, 2016 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born on December 2, 1933 in Troy, Ohio to the late James & Nellie Mae (King) Curtis. She married John L. Vehorn on June 23, 1956 in Troy, Ohio. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2011.
She is survived by children: Jayne & Mike McCollum, John's Creek, GA, Karen & Frank Griesdorn, St. Henry, Ted & Joyce Vehorn, St. Marys, Fred Vehorn, Fallbrook, CA, Ann & John Uhlenhake, St. Henry, Beth & Bart Griesdorn, Maria Stein, 16 grandchildren, 1 nephew & 1 niece.
She was preceded in death by sister Eleanor and 2 nephews.
Ruth Ann was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein and the Ladies Sodality of the church. She graduated from Troy High School in 1951 and Good Samaritan Nursing School in 1954. She worked at St. Marys Surgical for 11 years and was a surgery manager at Coldwater Hospital for 25 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at St. John Catholic Church, Maria Stein, Ohio with Rev. Tom Brenberger celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 28, and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 29.
