* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

LaVera Burke

LaVera I. Burke, 90, rural St. Marys, OH died 9:15 p.m. Friday November 25, 2016 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born April 11, 1926 in Pusheta Twp. - Auglaize Co., OH to Clyde and Lydia (Ruck) Schumann. On May 3, 1952 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Glynwood, OH she married John K. Burke, who died January 24, 2016.

Survivors include: son Michael (Jane) Burke of Wapakoneta, OH; son Steve (Kay) Burke of St. Marys, OH; 4 grandchildren: Ryan Burke, Emily (Kevin) High, Kelly (Matt) Wilker, Greg (Sarah) Burke; 9 great-grandchildren: Briana Burke, Paige Burke, Rebecca Wilker, Roxy Wilker, Chloe Wilker, Sawyar Wilker, John Burke, Avery Burke, Ryker High.

Preceded in death by: parents Clyde and Lydia Schumann; brother Elton Schumann; brother Howard Schumann.

She was a graduate of Anna High School. Mrs. Burke was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Wapakoneta, OH. Her favorite pastime was growing flowers, especially violets.

Rites are scheduled to begin 1:30 p.m. Tuesday November 29, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Kurt Klingbeil, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Glynwood.

Memorial contributions may be directed to either St. John's Lutheran Church or St. Thomas Cemetery maintenance funds.
