* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Elizabeth Hess
Elizabeth Anna Marie (Steinke) Hess has gone to be with loved ones on June 3, 2016.
She had a full life passing on a month shy of 96 years on this earth. Mostly know by "Betty," she was a homemaker, church religion teacher at St. Louis Catholic Church North Star for decades, then later for Holy Family in Frenchtown. Betty was also on Ansonia Rescue Volunteer Squad until 82 years old.
Born on July 11, 1919 to William Henry and Rosa Elizabeth (Rutschilling) in Mercer County, Ohio. After William's passing, was raised by step-father Michael Martin Lefeld.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marie E. Bryan and Louella Mains Collins; baby sister Catherine; brother John W. Steinke, ½ brother Isadore Steinke; ½ sister Kathleen Figel; step sisters, Mary Francetta Lefeld CPPS, Rita Siegrist, Hilda Topp, Anna Hohl and their spouses; and her husband, Gerald Alva Hess, married November 23, 1938 also by her son Gary Allen.
Betty is survived by her children, Michael J. (Linda) Hess, Nicholas B. (Janice) Hess and Elizabeth L. (David) Aultman; grandchildren, Eric (Teresa) Hess, Aaron Hess, Andrea (Peter) Iverson, Jason Hess, Christine Hess, Laura (Kyle) Mowery, Lindsey (Brian) Moran, Neil (Marsha) Hess, Bill (Angie) Hess, Ted (Stacey) Hess, Joe (Gina) Hess, Matthew (Morgan) Aultman and Blake (Jalee) Aultman; many great grandchildren; as well as her ½ sister Vera Bollheimer and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial held at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Ron Haft celebrant. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery, Brock, Ohio.
Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers it is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to Ansonia Volunteer Rescue Squad in Betty's memory.
