* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thelma Weis

Thelma Louise Weis, age 95, of Coldwater, died May 30, 2016 at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.

She was born February 3, 1921, in Lebanon, Ohio, to the late E. Franklin & Louisa (Green) Biggs. On July 26, 1974, she married Norbert J. Weis, and he died, October 27, 2001.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, William, Norman, and Robert and an infant sister.

Thelma was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. She was a 1938 graduate of Waynesville High School and received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from the University of Dayton. She taught at schools in Denver, Colorado, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Dayton, before coming to Coldwater Schools in 1956, where she taught until her retirement in 1980.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
