Janet Luthman
Janet D. Luthman age 78 of Minster, Ohio died on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at her home as a result of a house fire.
She was born on October 19, 1937 in Indiana to the late Henry & Thresia (Homan) Heitkamp. She married Donald C. Luthman on June 10, 1961 in St. Anthony, Ohio and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2010.
She is survived by children Janny and Howard Wears of Lewis Center, OH; Deb Wright of Ft. Loramie; Todd Luthman of Minster and Jill And Richard Hunt of Glenford, OH. Six grandchildren Courtney & James Maloney, Liz Wears, Josh Androsac, Cassandra Androsac, Christian and Logan Hunt, sisters Verene & Victor Kramer, Osgood, Joan & Ron Buschur, Celina, sister-in-law Virginia Heitkamp, Coldwater.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Lavern & Florian and a infant sister.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. She Graduated from Coldwater High School in 1956 and retired as a teller from Osgood State Bank.
She played chair volleyball and was in a bridge club and loved to play all cards. She enjoyed vacations with her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 29, 2016 at St. Augustine, Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call From 2:00 PM till 8:00 PM Thursday, April 28 and 9:00 AM till 9:30 AM Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
