* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

John High
John Ralph High, 71, of Hendersonville, N.C., passed away, Monday, February 29, 2016.
He was a son of the late John and Dorothy High and was also preceded in death by his brother, Freddie Joe High and his son-in-law, Dennis R. Bishop.
He was a native of Mendon, OH, a resident of Manatee County, FL and a resident of Henderson County since 1985. He served as a police officer for the City of Palmetto, FL for several years and was employed by Southeastern Container before retiring in 1985.
John enjoyed taking day trips, playing cards, watching white squirrels and a good steak. He loved farming and tractors but most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Bishop and Lisa Walker and her husband, Terry; grandchildren, Michael Bishop and wife, Brandie, Bradley Gordon and wife, Katheryn, Jessica Herman and husband, Michael, Dustin Walker, Derek Bishop, Cody Bishop, Vance Gordon and wife, Kasey and Trevor Walker; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Hickernell and husband, Richard; brother, David High and wife, Lisa; lifelong friend, Cheryl Adams Boley; mother of his children, Joan Conner; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Greg Mathis and Ryan Ducker officiating.
