* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Sherman Mackey
Sherman E. Mackey, 92, of Evansville, formerly of Celina, OH, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at The Heritage Center in Evansville.
He was born December 18, 1923, in Pike, WV, to the late Sherman E. and Hazel (Satterfield) Mackey.
After serving in the Army Air Corps during WWII, he graduated Cum Laude from Ohio State University. During the Korean Conflict he was recalled to work in the Pentagon for the Air Force. He retired from Huffman Manufacturing in Celina then went on to own and operate S and K Products, a small manufacturing business. He received two patents for his engineering work, was a member of Kiwanis, and was an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Celina where he sang in the choir.
Sherman was preceded in death by his sister, Lois Mackey; and parents.
He is survived by his wife, Rose (Gosden) Mackey; daughter, Linda (Don) Cates; son, Richard (Pam) Mackey; grandchildren, Jami Cates, Michael (Christina) Mackey, Debra Loera, Amanda (David) Mull, Catheryn (Chad) Albers, Justin Mackey and Christina Mackey; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
