Ruth Lawler
Ruth Lawler, age 89, of Painesville Twp., Ohio, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, where she had resided for almost two years.
She was born March 24, 1926 in Marion, Ohio, to the late Francis & Olivia (Rohr) Lawler. She graduated from Mt. St. Joseph College, Cincinnati and was a registered nurse. She was responsible for starting the home dialysis program for the VA Hospital out of Cleveland.
She is survived by a cousin, Trudy Maruna and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Marion, Ohio.
Arrangements are being handled by Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
