* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Helen Kaffenberger
Helen Y. Kaffenberger, 97, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died December 23, 2015, at Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville, Ohio.
She was born October 4, 1918, in Shanghai, China, to her parents, the late Yu Zengxiang and Hu Lanqing. On July 5, 1948 she married Harry A. Kaffenberger, who died July 24, 1967.
Surviving are three sons, Yuenteng (Pearl) Zhou of Queens, NY, Dr. David (Jennifer) Kaffenberger of Spring Valley, OH, and Ivan (Cindy) Kaffenberger of Fort Recovery; a daughter, Peiling Zhou of Elk Grove, CA; a daughter-in-law, Beth Nofziger of Howe, IN; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death are a son, John Kaffenberger; a great grandchild and a brother, William Yue.
Helen retired from Fort Recovery Industries, Fort Recovery.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Recovery. She loved knitting, playing cards, attending church, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services are 10:30 am Monday, December 28, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pastor Robin Owen and Rev. Paul Young officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Calling is 2:00 pm-4:00 pm Sunday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery and 9:30 am-10:30 am Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the Fort Recovery Fire Fighters Association.
