* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

William Skelding
William L. Skelding, 67, St. Marys, OH (formerly of Westerville and Pataskala, OH) died 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 15, 2015 at Otterbein – St. Marys.
He was born June 7, 1948 in Youngstown, OH to Joseph Henry and Margaret Sarah (Arnold) Skelding. On April 21, 1995 in Columbus, OH he married Mary "Beth" Colvin-Cunningham, who survives.
Also survived by: daughter Paula Ann (Chris) Pleiman of Yorkshire, OH; daughter Theresa Lee Hemmelgarn of New Bremen, OH; 6 grandchildren: Lauren Hemmelgarn, Briana Hemmelgarn, Cole Hemmelgarn, Tyler Pleiman, Brandon Pleiman, Jamie Pleiman; brother Gary (Jacqueline) Skelding of Lake Orion, MI.
Preceded in death by: parents Joseph and Margaret Skelding; granddaughter Madison Pleiman; brother James Robert Skelding; sister Betsy Ann Skelding; parents-in-law Walter and Harriett Colvin.
He was a graduate of Youngstown South High School (Class of 1967) and Bowling Green State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology. Bill retired from the State of Ohio – Dept. of Agriculture, where he served as Enforcement Head of the Dairy Division. Following his retirement, he and Beth operated B and B Home Maintenance Co. in Pataskala, OH.
His favorite pastimes included geocaching, hiking, traveling and all types of "handy-man" activities.
Rites are scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. Thursday August 20, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Jon Kraner, officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, in St. Marys.
Visitation 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
