* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

James Chick
James Roger Chick, 76 of Ohio City and Sun City Center, Florida, passed away Thursday evening, August 13, 2015, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.
He was born on March 19, 1939, in Adolphus, Kentucky to the late Samuel Earl and Reba Dell (Miller) Chick. On June 16, 1963, he married the former Janet Tickle who survives.
Other family members include his daughter Cara (Scott) Bollenbacher of Celina; two grandchildren, Grant James and Cali Mae Bollenbacher; a sister, Karen (Mike) Bell of Bellefontaine, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Larry (Sally) Tickle of Ohio City; and several nieces and nephews.
Jim graduated from Indian Lake High School in 1957 and received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Bowling Green State University in 1962. He received his Masters of Science and Education from St. Francis College in Fort Wayne.
He had worked for Central Insurance Company in Van Wert, Gulf Oil Corporation in Evansville, Indiana, then taught at St. Francis and International Business College in Fort Wayne. He then worked for Blue Cross in Lima and retired in 2005 from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital after 23 years with 20 years as the President and CEO.
He had received the Distinguished Service Award from the Ohio Hospital Association in 2005. He was a member of the Association for Hospitals and Health Systems, past president of the Western Ohio Hospital Council, past member of the board of trustees of West Central Ohio Health Systems Agency, former member of the Small and Rural Hospital Committee of the Ohio Hospital Association, Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and past speaker at the Ohio Hospital Association Convention.
He was Past Master of Eureka Lodge No. #592, of Ohio City, Past Patron of Hyler Chapter +432, Ohio City, and former member of the St. Marys Rotary Club.
Jim was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf in Florida and spending time with his grandchildren, especially watching all of their ball games.
There will be a Celebration of Jim's Life at 4 - 8 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the Hickory Sticks Golf Club south of Van Wert.
Preferred memorials are to the Joint Township District Hospital Foundation, 200 St. Clair Street, St. Marys, Ohio 45885.
Arrangements are being handles by Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert.
