* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

David Hissong
David K. Hissong, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Centerville on July 1, 2015, after a short battle with cancer.
Dave was born in Caledonia, Ohio, on Oct. 1, 1947, to the late Leola and Ermin (EJ) Hissong.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Marti (Hausfeld) and two beautiful children, Alexander David and Jessica Renee, and son-in-law Michael Haag. Also surviving are David's two siblings, Melvin Hissong (Doris) and Ann Tropf (Carrol), both of Caledonia. Other surviving family members are his father-in-law Romie Hausfeld and his sister and brother in-laws: Marilyn Hart, Pat Clough, Theresa Garlock (PJ), Joan Kentner (Jan), Joe Hausfeld (Lisa) and Ann Bollheimer (Mike). Dave will also be missed by 20 nieces and nephews and 17 great nieces and nephews.
David was proceeded in death by his mother and father as well as his mother in-law, Mildred Hausfeld, and brother in-law, Robert Hausfeld.
David attended grade school and high school in Marion, Ohio, and college at The Ohio State University in Columbus from 1967 to 1971 where he became one of the Buckeyes' greatest football fans.
David will be remembered by family and friends for his positive attitude and genuine love for life. He was an avid reader and a student of history. He loved his family, friends and work.
He attended SouthBrook Christian Church, loved family gatherings, his friends at Tim Hortons and Starbucks, summer vacations at the beach, football season and March Madness.
Dave's high energy helped build a successful career in sales. He worked as a sales manager for Makita Power Tools for 20 years. He recently retired as a sales consultant for Service Tools where he described his job as, "Driving around calling on my friends."
Dave was skilled in carpentry and leaves behind his mark on beautifully crafted items and precisely-completed home remodels.
If you would like to pay respect, family will greet friends from 4 pm to 7 pm Friday, July 10th, at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 North Main Street, Centerville, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 11th, at 11:00 am at Southbook Christian church at 9095 Washington Church Road, Miamisburg, Ohio. Family will also be available at Southbrook an hour before the service for visitation.
Donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton or Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton.
